With a hefty $20,000 winner's check up for grabs in Saturday's
weekend finale at Magnolia, Dennis clicked off the fastest lap
in Group B during time trials and later secured an impressive
heat race triumph over Ashton Winger, Trey Mills, and Tim McCreadie.
After drawing the fourth starting spot for the 60-lap headliner,
Dennis fought hard for a potential top five showing in the event
before crossing underneath the checkers in the seventh position.
The Carpentersville, Illinois standout is now tied for ninth
in the latest version of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series
point standings exiting the 'Duel at the Mag.' Full results
