Dennis Erb, Jr. Seventh in $20k Duel at the Mag Finale; Heads to EAMS and Senoia
(March 27, 2026)
Dennis Erb, Jr. and his #28 team followed the World of Outlaws Late Model Series to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi in March 20-21 for the 'Duel at the Mag.' On Friday night in the $12,000 to win weekend lid lifter, Dennis timed in eleventh quickest in Group B during qualifying prior to running fifth in his stacked heat race. Following a B-Main victory, Dennis placed nineteenth in the final rundown of the 40-lap main event. (Josh James Artwork)

With a hefty $20,000 winner's check up for grabs in Saturday's weekend finale at Magnolia, Dennis clicked off the fastest lap in Group B during time trials and later secured an impressive heat race triumph over Ashton Winger, Trey Mills, and Tim McCreadie. After drawing the fourth starting spot for the 60-lap headliner, Dennis fought hard for a potential top five showing in the event before crossing underneath the checkers in the seventh position. The Carpentersville, Illinois standout is now tied for ninth in the latest version of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series point standings exiting the 'Duel at the Mag.' Full results from both races can be found online by clicking on www.woolms.com.

Dennis Erb Racing and the rest of the World of Outlaws teams have remained in the south this week for two more shootouts on March 27-28 in the states of Alabama and Georgia. Later this evening, a $12,000 top prize will be on the line in the ‘Chattahoochee Clash’ at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama. On Saturday evening, the dirt-slinging action will quickly shift to Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia for the $20,000 to win ‘Billy Clanton Classic.’ Learn more about these shows online at www.woolms.com or tune in each night and watch LIVE on DIRTVision.
