DIRTCAR NATIONALS NIGHTLY RESULTS FROM VOLUSIA
(February 16, 2019)
Dennis Erb, Jr. wrapped up the 48th edition of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' tonight at Volusia (FL) Speedway Park, as another $10,000 winner's check was up for grabs for the 45 car field. Dennis stopped the clock second fastest in Group B during qualifying prior to picking up his first heat race triumph during Speedweeks. After drawing the pole position before the drop of the green flag in the 50-lap grand finale, Dennis hung around the top five throughout the distance and eventually crossed underneath the checkers fourth behind only victor Brandon Sheppard, Chris Madden, and Shane Clanton!

(February 15, 2019) The penultimate event of the 2019 'DIRTcar Nationals' at Volusia Speedway Park took center stage in the Dirt Late Model world tonight and the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series presided over another $10,000 to win spectacular. Dennis Erb, Jr. posted the sixth fastest lap in Group A during qualifying before running second in his stacked heat race. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace then started from the inside of the sixth row in the 50-lapper and eventually finished right where he started... in the eleventh position.

(February 14, 2019) Valentine's Day for the #28 team was headlined by another $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series shootout tonight at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Dennis Erb, Jr. qualified twelfth fastest in Group B during qualifying and later stormed to a second place finish in his heat race. Dennis then rolled off from the outside of the sixth row in the 50-lap headliner before winding up eighteenth in the final finishing order for the second straight night.

(February 13, 2019) The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series returned to competition tonight at Volusia Speedway Park and a $10,000 top prize was on the line for the stellar 44 car field. Dennis Erb, Jr. placed sixth in his loaded heat race prior to grabbing the third transfer spot through his B-Main. The Carpentersville, Illinois native then started the 50-lapper from the outside of the eleventh row and picked up a few spots en route to an eighteenth place showing.

(February 12, 2019) Tonight's DIRTcar-sanctioned program at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida has been washed out from afternoon showers with more rain on the way. The $7,000 to win 'DIRTcar Nationals' showdown at the Daytona Beach-area oval will not be rescheduled. Action will get back underway at VSP tomorrow, as the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series will preside over a 50-lapper, which will boast a $10,000 payday.

(February 11, 2019) The 48th edition of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' for the Super Late Models started tonight at Volusia Speedway Park with a $7,000 to win shootout at the 1/2-mile Barberville, Florida speedplant. Dennis Erb, Jr. knocked down the seventh quickest time in his group during qualifying prior to running seventh in both his heat race and his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Carpentersville, Illinois ace was unable to transfer into the 30-lap sprint, which was won by Mike Marlar.

BUBBA ARMY WINTER NATIONALS RAINED OUT
(February 10, 2019)
A $10,000 to win throwdown at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida was scheduled for tonight to wrap up the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series portion of "Speedweeks" in Georgia and Florida. However, the annual 'Bubba Army Winter Nationals' was rained-out shortly before hot laps started and the program, which was set to be highlighted by a 50-lap main event, will not be rescheduled.

ERB, JR. STARTS WOOLMS CAMPAIGN IN WINTER FREEZE
(February 9, 2019)
The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series kicked off their version of the 2019 racing season on February 8-9 at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia. The Peach State venue drew a 39 car field for the 'Winter Freeze IX,' which featured two complete shows paying $10,000 to win each night. On Friday night, Dennis Erb, Jr. placed seventh in his loaded heat race, third in his B-Main, and thirteenth in the 50-lap headliner. In tonight's $10,000 to win battle at Screven, Dennis grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race prior to moving up five spots during the 50-lapper en route to an eleventh place performance.

WINTERNATIONALS NIGHTLY RESULTS FROM EAST BAY
(February 6, 2019)
Round three (and the final one for the #28 team) of the 'Winternationals' at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida took place earlier tonight and all eyes in the pit area were on capturing the $7,000 payday. Dennis Erb, Jr. qualified third fastest in Group B during time trials before finishing second in his stacked heat race. Dennis, who started from the outside of the sixth row, briefly advanced inside of the top ten in the 40-lapper and eventually was paid for a fourteenth place performance in his final night at East Bay.

(February 5, 2019) Another $5,000 windfall was up for grabs with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tonight at East Bay Raceway Park. The Gibsonton, Florida facility drew a stout 56 car field and Dennis Erb, Jr. started his night off by clicking off the seventh quickest lap in Group A during time trials. Dennis then finished second in his loaded heat race and later rolled off from the inside of the fourth row in the 30-lap feature event. The Carpentersville, Illinois standout ran as high as second in the running order before guiding his familiar blue/white #28 machine to a strong third place podium effort behind only victor Tyler Erb and runner-up Earl Pearson, Jr.

(February 4, 2019) The 43rd annual 'Winternationals' kicked off tonight at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida and 53 competitors showed up to do battle for the $5,000 winner's check. Dennis Erb, Jr. stopped the clock sixth fastest in Group B during the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying session prior to grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the ninth row in the 30-lap sprint, Dennis was able to move up to finish fifteenth in the final finishing order of night one at the "Clay by the Bay."

SUPER BOWL OF RACING NIGHTLY RESULTS FROM GOLDEN ISLES
(February 2, 2019)
Another $12,000 payday was on the line with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tonight in the 'Super Bowl of Racing' finale at Golden Isles Speedway. A stout 37 car field signed into the pit area at the Brunswick, Georgia-area oval and a large crowd was on hand to witness all of the ground-pounding action. Dennis Erb, Jr. knocked down the twelfth fastest time in Group A during qualifying and later grabbed the third transfer spot through his loaded heat race. Dennis was on the move once again in the 50-lapper, as the Carpentersville, Illinois star drove up to the sixth spot before eventually crossing underneath the checkers in the seventh finishing position.

(February 1, 2019) The 2019 edition of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season got underway tonight in the 'Super Bowl of Racing' opener at Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Georgia. Most of the $12,000 to win racing program was completed this evening, but the final B-Main and the 50-lap headliner were pushed to Saturday afternoon after inclement weather struck the southern Georgia speedplant. Dennis Erb, Jr. posted the fifteenth quickest lap in Group A during the qualifying session prior to finishing seventh in his stacked heat race and second in his consolation event. During the course of Saturday's daytime main event, Dennis was able to advance nine positions to score a solid tenth place showing.

In recent weeks, Dennis Erb, Jr. has scoured series and track schedules looking for the best plan of attack for his #28 Super Late Model team during the 2019 campaign. A final decision was made this past weekend and for the first time in his career, Dennis will follow the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series tour. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace had been a stalwart with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series since 2013 - when he finished a career best fifth in the final series point standings - and before that, Dennis racked up three Championships on the grueling UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour. The 2019 version of the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series schedule currently features 47 races at 36 different dirt facilities in 16 states. Dennis will look to get off to a fast start in the national point standings during "Speedweeks" events at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia on February 8-9 and in four nights of 'DIRTcar Nationals' action at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida from February 13-16. Several marquee spectaculars also dot the WOOLMS calendar including the $15,000 to win 'Illini 100' at Farmer City (IL) Raceway, the $25,000 to win 'First in Flight 100' at Fayetteville (NC) Motor Speedway, the $30,000 to win 'Firecracker 100' at Lernerville (PA) Speedway, the $30,000 to win 'Prairie Dirt Classic' at Fairbury (IL) A.L.
