Dennis Erb, Jr. Tenth in Malvern
Bank Go 50; Huge Week Ahead in Land of Lincoln
(July
21, 2026) A hectic week of Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series racing took the #28 team to the Hawkeye State from
July 14-18. Last Tuesday night, things kicked off at the sprawling
Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa with the $15,000 to win
'Half Mile Hustle.' Dennis Erb, Jr. ran seventh in his loaded
heat race and sixth in his B-Main prior to retiring early from
the 40-lap feature in the twenty-fourth position. (Heath

The action then shifted to Shelby County Speedway in Harlan,
Iowa for the annual running of the 'Silver Dollar Nationals.'
With a $15,000 payday up for grabs on Thursday evening, Dennis
placed second in his heat race before starting and finishing
a solid tenth in the 'Malvern Bank Go 50' main event. After
placing eighth and fourth in his dual heat races on Friday,
Dennis narrowly missed out on Saturday's $52,000 to win 'Silver
Dollar Nationals' headliner after running fifth in his B-Main.

Another busy stretch is in store for Dennis Erb Racing from
July 21-25… this time in the Land of Lincoln. A pair of
$20,000 to win FloRacing Night in America Series battles are
on tap on Tuesday at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois and
on Wednesday at Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois. Tonight’s
show at Lincoln Speedway will resume where it left off when
inclement weather struck the bullring back in May. Watch these
two races LIVE on FloRacing or learn more online at www.floseries.com.
Over the weekend the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will
roar into Fairbury Speedway for the 36th edition of the ‘Prairie
Dirt Classic.’ On Friday at FALS, the ‘Prairie Dirt
Showdown’ will be held with qualifying and four $5,000
to win semifeatures on the racing card. The consolation races
and the 100-lap PDC will then take place on Saturday evening
with the victor receiving $50,000 plus lap money. Watch the
‘Prairie Dirt Classic’ weekend LIVE on DIRTVision
